We were told not to worry as would be refunded at year end. We looked online at the start of the year and saw the refund check had been cut and mailed, as stated, at year's end. However, this is when the lies and poor service started. On January 10 we emailed to inform FA that the check was not received. We. . . Midwest Mortgage Consultants "WHO's WHO"
It would seem that A LOT of people are scared of re-financing or buying homes after seeing where our economy is at and hearing the horror stories associated with the "MORTGAGE MESS" as it has come to be known. It's true; A lot of people found themselves in bad positions in just the past few years. Why is that? Let me give you a list of reasons: 1) Certain lenders helped many people to get into housing that they could not afford through stipulations in the laws which allowed them to get into homes that were way outside of their affordable price range.
Reverse Mortgage Lenders
As the industry struggles with falling endorsement volume and a shrinking market, lenders are largely optimistic about the future of the reverse mortgage space in 2017. Many agree that growth in the next year will depend on a variety of external and internal factors, such as the industry’s ability to expand its messaging to more financial service professionals, and how well the industry looks within itself to improve the customer experience in efforts to better meet the financial needs and situations of its client population, among other objectives.

Loan Modification and Mortgage Foreclosure Scams
The foreclosure process is under scrutiny after revelations that some loan servicers violated the rules. Now the focus may be shifting to the loan modification process, which has failed to prevent as many foreclosures as once hoped. Lawsuits have proliferated this year, filed by homeowners desperately trying to hang onto their homes, and who say loan servicers lied to them, gave them erroneous information and lost their paperwork as they tried to modify their loans. San Francisco's Housing and Economic Rights Advocates, a legal services group, has sued JPMorgan Chase, accusing the bank of exploiting homeowners with trial modifications, only to foreclose on their homes.
